Winter Storm Slams Michigan

A winter storm has brought anywhere between 2 and 4 feet to most of lower Michigan over the last 24 hours. Snowfalls totaled up to 16" at the Detroit airport (16.7") with other cities reaching up to 14". It was the 3rd highest recorded snowfall in the history of Detroit. 

 Temperatures in the Detroit Metro are hovering around 15 degrees, with highs expected to reach 19. 

 Snow emergencies were declared for 3 counties and 54 cities in the metro area.
